Local 237 members working at CUNY 2-year colleges are now scheduled to begin receiving their pay increases on Nov. 22, those working at CUNY 4-year colleges are scheduled for November 14th. Both groups will receive retroactive pay in their respective pay periods. The Union has worked with CUNY to ensure that Local 237 members receive their new wage rates and retro payments negotiated in the current contract. All CUNY members received their signing bonuses over the summer.
Apply by May 1st! Scholarships will be awarded for four-year college or university and training or vocational programs that are related to work in a Teamsters-represented industry, class, or craft.

By an overwhelming margin, Local 237 members have re-elected the Floyd slate to lead the union.
President Floyd hosts a weekly half-hour public affairs radio program. Floyd's special guest Sat., Nov. 9th will be Rep. Yvette Clarke. This Saturday, the show will air on 970AM-WNYM/The Answer at 9pm, as well as on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 12:30pm. Tune in Saturdays on AM970 The Answer at 2:30 and 9:00pm and on AM570 The Mission at 4:30pm. The show can also be seen on Local 237's website, YOUTUBE and FACEBOOK social media platforms.
